In her role as bookshop manager, Cherie oversees all operations of the Cathedral bookstore, including recruiting, training more than a dozen volunteers and developing a marketing plan that keeps the bookstore profitable. Cherie points out that the bookstore offers books and gifts for a variety of faith traditions in addition to serving cathedral members and Diocesan clergy. Cherie is committed to ensuring that the bookshop always provides personalized customer service and is a welcoming and safe place for parishioners. Outside of the bookshop, Cherie is a Stephen Ministry leader and chaplain and is involved in Thursday night dinners.
Cherie and her husband, Dana, joined the Cathedral more than twenty years ago. They have three children and six grandchildren. Prior to her work at Trinity, Cherie was a Vice President for Certified Employment Group. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and enjoys playing duplicate bridge in her spare time.
