The Rev. Donna Arellano, Deacon

Rev. Donna Arellano, Deacon

Donna officially started at Trinity on June 11, 2017, one day after being ordained to the Diaconate on June 10.  However, Donna had already been at Trinity for one year, having done her School for Deacons Field Education here.  Working with the lay leadership team, Donna oversees the many Outreach Ministries, including Pilgrimage Sacramento, Community Dinners, Family Promise, and Floyd School.  Her passion is to address the needs of the homeless, refugee, and immigrant communities.

Donna and her husband Hector have lived in the Sacramento area since 1989.  They moved here from North Carolina by taking a 3-week journey driving across the country, with their (then) 1-yr-old daughter Danielle.  Donna was raised in Philadelphia and attended the University of Pennsylvania as a Computer Engineering major.

Outside of church, Donna works as an I.T. Analyst for Broadridge Customer Communications.  She enjoys rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers; hiking; reading; and, when possible, relaxing.
