SUNDAYS AT TRINITY

Trinity Cathedral Church offers a variety of Sunday worship services, each with a distinct flavor.

Sunday

7:30 am Service – Hymns, scripture readings, sermon, traditional liturgical language  (Rite I-Book of Common Prayer), prayer, Holy Communion (all present are welcome to receive).

9:00 am Service – Family Friendly.  Broad mix of contemporary music, the Celebration Choir, scripture readings, sermon,  contemporary liturgical language

(Book of Common Prayer Rite II /Enriching Our Worship), Holy Communion (all present are welcome to receive).  Children’s Chapel is offered after the gospel reading; children return to the service at the Peace, and Nursery Care available.

9:00 am – 1st Sunday – Family Service in the Great Hall.  Geared for children’s full participation with musical instruments and drama, children’s prayers and Holy Communion.  From September through May each year.

11:15 am Service – Traditional Hymns and Choral Anthems, the Cathedral Choir, Sermon, contemporary liturgical language (Book of Common Prayer Rite II/ Enriching Our Worship), Holy Communion (all present are welcome to receive).  Children’s Chapel is offered after the Gospel reading; children return to the service at the Peace, and Nursery Care available.

12:45 pm Service – Contemporary liturgical language from the Book of Common Prayer Rite II and Enriching Our Worship, Holy Communion (all present are welcome to receive).  This is a “said” service and there is no music provided.  This service is specially designed for those who perhaps work on Sundays and can come during their lunch break or those who might struggle to sit through a longer service since this service has no music.

ALL SERVICES:

Wheelchair access through the side door of the Cathedral near the nursery.

Hearing assist devices and large print editions of the service are available from any usher.
