Throughout the year the Family and Youth Ministry Team sponsor many events for children, youth, and adults for further learning, fellowship and spiritual growth. All are welcome to these activities. We have a great time!
1st Sundays of the month
This is a child-friendly service for the whole family. We will have lots of singing and movement, plus a gospel message and communion. Join us for this unique and joyful service. This Service takes the summer off. The service runs from September thru May each year.
Baptisms occur about once a month at Trinity Cathedral during the 9:00 and 11:15 am services. If you would like to have your child baptized contact the office to get a Baptism Booklet and application form. Then you may choose a clergy person to meet with for further instruction.
The parish picnic takes place in May each year and is open to all parishioners. Trinity provides the grilled food, and everyone is asked to bring side dishes and desserts to share! It’s a fun, relaxed afternoon of sharing fellowship in one of our beautiful city parks.
Growing strong, healthy, and faith-filled families are challenging and complex in this world in which we live; yet it is the most vital thing we can do! So important that we are now offering two Parenting Matters groups!
Parenting Matters: Please join me on the third Sunday of each month during the Sunday School hour, 10:15 – 11:15 upstairs in the Assembly Area, as we explore together the issues of parenting young children – from birth through 7th grade.
Parenting Teens and Young Adults: A Walk on the Wild Side: Meeting on the fourth Sunday of each month during the Sunday School hour, 10:15 – 11:15, upstairs in the Assembly Area. We’ll explore the joys and challenges of adolescence and young adulthood.
From little ones too young adulthood, we’ll look at a different topic each month, share successes, and explore resources. – Rev. Kathy Hopner
