All students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to participate in the activities of Trinity’s EYF. Activities include:
Sunday School: Offered from 10:15 to 11:15 Sunday Mornings. Junior High students reflect on passages from the Bible and explore connections with their daily lives. Senior High students use a variety of materials to explore foundational aspects of our faith and contemporary issues to discover how to live as people of faith in today’s world.
Monthly Meetings: We meet upstairs in Room F on the second and fourth Sunday of the month from 12:30 to 2:30 for lunch, program, and activities. We also participate in a variety of events and service projects throughout the year.
River City Food Bank: On the third Sunday of each month we gather at Trinity to work at River City Food Bank from 12:30 – 2:30.
Service Project Mission Trips: Students entering grades 7-12 and graduating seniors are eligible to attend a one-week summer mission trip. We work in supervised teams to serve communities in need. We learn to live our faith in God. We strengthen our friendships and make new friends. We see with new eyes the many problems facing our world, and the privileges and comforts we take for granted in our own lives.
Some of the fundraisers to support Service Project Mission Trips: Christmas Greens which we sell in October and November, and are picked up at the church the week after Thanksgiving, and Super Bowl Pizza: in late January/early February we make and sell pizza for pick up on Super Bowl Sunday.
Summer Camp: Youth are invited to attend Episcopal Church summer camp as campers, counselors in training, and counselors. As Camp Noel Porter is on hiatus this summer, we have entered into a relationship with Camp Galilee, an Episcopal Camp at Lake Tahoe.
